* Why you love photography?

“I love photography because I am able to capture moments that people tend to forget. When shooting an event, it’s extremely rare that I’ll ask a client/guest to pose. It’s important to capture natural love, laughter and joy. When the photos are repersented to the clients, their eyes light up with joy. Sometimes a clients reaction to a photo is enough compensation for me. Cash can be received and spent thereafter. A wonderful reaction remains in your heart for a lifetime. ”

* Your favorite type of photography?

“Photographing structures is my favortie type of work. When customizing a landscape or a building you have the opprotunity to utilize colors, shapes and make tones of additions if you have the right software.”

* A funny/interesting photography story?

“My services were retained to photograph a Mothers Day event at a Country Club. As I was shooting and using $5000.00 worth of equipment, I was asked by one of the clients if I could capture some shots with her point and shoot camera. I placed my very expensive camera on the grass and the client handed me her point and shoot camera. As soon as she placed the camera in my hands, I became scared and very edgy. The client looked and me and asked what was wrong. I replied, “I’ve never used a point and shoot camera, how do you turn this thing on?” It had to be one of the WORST photos I’ve ever taken. I really need some point and shoot lessons!!!!”

* Photography tips or tricks?

“Some of the tricks I use for JAZZIN’ up a photo is Image tricks Pro software. Mirroring images is one of my FAVs. You can take an object and multiply is as many times as you want. The photo will appear as if your took the same shot numerous times.”

* Comments about your web site design?

“SmugMug is a user friendly website. Clients are able to access a photographers work, make purchases of photos, mugs, keychains and whatever comes to mind. When the SmugMug site is utilized by clients, they think that the entire site has been customized just for them. JR Customization adds more of a personal touch to your website. I personally work with Jerry. His professionalism, knowledge and personailty won me over during our first verbal conversation. All of my request, suggestions and inquires were answered within hours and sometimes even minutes. My favortie thing about JR Customization is the payment process. Instead of paying for the entire website customization fees all up front, JR requested 1/2 in the beginning of the job and the final payment once the site was completed. It is EXTREMELY rare in business that you’ll will find a vendor that accepts partial payment on any job. BRAVO to JR Customization and especially to Jerry!!
