* Why you love photography?

“Photography is visually creative and is in my blood. I followed in my father’s footsteps as a Professional Photographer. I feel very honored to keep the tradition alive! It is my way of communicating, connecting with people and capturing a moment in time. I am very passionate about how light falls on a subject. I am a lifelong Nikon fan!”

* Your favorite type of photography?

“My favorite type of photography is Portraiture on location. It is a new challenge every time and I like to problem solve to get the job done creatively. I like to shoot with video lights off camera for dramatic lighting.”

* A funny/interesting photography story?

“I made the horse (Duke) smile! I shot at a low angle and dangled a carrot and Duke smiled like Mr. Ed!!”

* Photography tips or tricks?

“One trick that makes my portrait sessions stand out are added props to match the backgrounds. Try using hats, glasses, clothing to make the shots POP!”

* Comments about your web site design?

“jR Customization has been very patient with me. It was a learning curve for me but Jerry walked me through each step involved to complete the final website. It looks fantastic! I am pleased with how my website has conveyed my unique photography style.”
