“Wildlife.  I can sit for hours by the Silver River (made famous by the Tarzan movies, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, and Seahunt movies) and wait silently and patiently for wildlife to emerge and Mother Nature to do her thing!”

* Funny or interesting photography story:

“I was visiting Sequoia National Park in California at the edge of Huckleberry Meadow. I was perched on a downed log waiting for Mother Nature to come to life when a bear actually strolled through the meadow.  Now, I was hoping for this very type of sighting, but I was so startled that a bear actually appeared that I nearly forgot to get the shot off!  My hands were shaking, instinct took over and I couldn’t stop snapping shots!”
