Visit Lyn Foley

Round Top Texas jeweler Lyn Foley uses specializes in handmade beads and glasswork jewelry. Lyn uses Smugmug to post images of jewelry and sells to customers via paypal. Lyn uses the wordpress blog – which design is similar to her smugmug site – to write her latest creative jewerly work, art shows, specials and topics related to jewelry making.

Lyn writes about smugmug and jR Customization:

“I was excited when I discovered SmugMug a few years ago since selling my jewelry online requires a lot of photos of my work. SmugMug makes uploading those picture so easy (I don’t have to resize them), and I can show my extensive photo portfolio of sold work online as well. Many customers have commented on the clear easy screen navigation is, and how good my jewelry looks. Thanks Jerry, for customizing my site and making it look fabulous and professional. Now my jewelry will be easier to sell with the much needed “Buy Now” buttons, great navigation, and integrated blog and other stuff! Jerry, you Rock!”

Visit Sierra Mirage Images

Las Vegas Nevada area photographer Horace (Paul) Guerras specializes in landscape and wildlife photography.

Paul loves photography – “Photography is what makes me complete. It’s a passion. It’s the creativity, right sided brain function that completes me, makes me a better doctor, makes me a better human. Photography will extend my life. It’s truly a ‘FRIDAY NIGHT ESSENCE’.”

Pauls favorite photography is “No doubt, my favorite photography is landscape. I love going to the most difficult to get to places and capturing the moment. Surely, I want to be proficient at capturing other phenomena such as lightning, meteor showers, an avalanche, a great white shark approaching and me riding it, you name it! You don’t want to know how many close calls I’ve had. Should I divulge them all, someone might read about it and have me arrested. Hiking with 40-50 lbs. of equipment can be a real chore, and dangerous if you get complacent in the most dizzying of places. I remember being up at the top of Calico Hills of Red Rock Canyon with the sun setting rapidly and having to trek down the steep faces of that place in near pitch blackness. The whole journey down took me two hours with thoughts that I might have to set up camp overnight and text my loved ones saying, ‘I’m stuck out here for the night. Call you in the morning, if I’m still alive.’ I am venturing to take photography to its new heights, capturing the moment in the most hard to get to places, and in the most dangerous of situations nature can throw at you. My patients will then know me as a complete healer. They deserve no less of me.”

Paul is new to the smugmug family and to jR Customization – “All too easy to design! The professionalism is the best I’ve seen since I have been setting up websites for myself and businesses. I’m sure that when the millions roll in, you will know that you are a part of making it happen.”

Visit Allinda Photography

Richmond Virginia area photographers Al and Linda Warfield specialize in portrait, nature and fine art photography.

Al writes about smugmug and jR Customization:

“Over the past few years Photography has become the main focus for me. It started with film, and then into digital. The learning process was mostly software oriented, and I learned Photoshop, Camera Raw, Photodex Pro Show Gold, and Photomatix for HDR photography, as well as a few others. But after Jerry started customizing my Smugmug website all that had to take a back seat to Smugmug, Dgrin, CSS, Java, SEO, and all the technical terms I never dreamed of before. It’s been an uphill climb, but JR has helped me, and even pushed me to learn this stuff. I have a long way to go still, but am gaining in leaps and bounds. The site looks great, and the cost was about 1/5 of what I would have spent if I had someone do the whole thing from scratch without JR and Smugmug. Thanks for all your help, JR.”
